Red was the only available color in for the 1971 model year. The 1971 was equipped with a street style exhaust, the later 1972 model had a trail like exhaust pipe. The Leggero replaced the earlier M-50 Sport (US market) or Zeffiretto Sport (italian market). The main difference was the larger bore of now 65cc compared to the earlier 50cc displacement. Picture No. 01 shows a 1970 model. Thanks to Steve, from the US for the picture of his 1970 Leggero |
