The SXT-125 is equipped with battery, coil, headlight,
taillight, stoplight, horn and turnsignals. It's street legal in Europe
and the USA.
The bike is often mixed up with the earlier TX-125 or SX-125. One reason for the mix up is the "SX-125 eagle-logo" on the exhaust shield instead of a "SXT-125 logo" by factory.
It also uses the same designation "3F" in the VIN as earlier 125cc bikes.
The SXT-125 basically uses the same engine as the earlier 125cc bikes but now equipped with a aluminum cylinder with a hardcoated barrel. The bike does have a seperate plastic reservoir for two stroke oil mounted beneath the gas tank. There is also an automatic oil pump for oil mixture hidden behind a cover on the ride side of the engine. While the SXT-125 is a dirt bike with its high exhaust, it has a very similar brother the street version "SS-125" which differs mainly in a lower chrome exhaust.
The second pictures shows a 1976 "Olympia". Harley-Davidson was one of the official suppliers for the Olympic Games in Montreal (1976). Support workers on site were provided with these sponsor bikes. The Olympic bikes were painted red with the Olympic rings logo on top of the gas tank.
